Equip for Equality works to advance the human and civil rights of people with disabilities. They offer legal advice and traiing for parents and individuals to self-advocate for their rights. There are four different sites in Illinois - Main office in Chicago, but also Springfield, Moline, and Carbondale that serve the different regions across Illinois.

The Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County
The Children's Advocacy Center of North & Northwest Cook County seeks to provide a multidisciplinary approach to severe physical and child sexual abuse cases. The Center recognizes the special, unique needs of child victims, while demanding accountability for the crime of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse. Their programs include CASI (Coordination, Advocacy, Sensitive Interviewing), Family Support (crisis intervention, short-term counseling, parrent support, court advocacy, case management) and their Safe From the Start Program (available in English and Spanish, for ages 0-5 who have been exposed to violence offers case management, therapy, and training).

Suburban Access, Inc. - Western & Southern Cook County
Suburban Access, Inc. offers service coordination and case management to South and Western Cook County. They provide: Child and Family Connections, which provide early intervention services for children under the age of three and who may have developmental delays; Independent Service Coordination, with DHS, develop individualized service plans, to arrange for delivery of services, and to ensure access to services; Pre-Admission Screening to provide documentation to verify that a person has a developmental disability and meets the criteria for state-funded services; Prioritization of Urgency of need for Services (PUNS) database assistance with enrollment; Individual Service and Support Advocacy, in with the staff meets with the individual with a disability and their families to review service plans and programs; and Bogard Case Management, which provides service coordination and advocacy for individuals who have developmental disabilities, reside in skilled nursing facilities, and were involved in a class action lawsuit.

Sarah's Inn - Western Cook County
Sarah's Inn whose mission is to imporve the lives of those affected by domestic violence and to break the cycle of violence for future generations. They offer comprehensive services, including domestic vilence crisis intervention, community education, and violence prevention programs for youth. Sarah's Inn works throughout Chicago's West Side neighborhoods and the Western Suburbs.
