Prevent Child Abuse Illinois Literature
Respite care provides temporary relief for caregivers from the ongoing responsibility of caring for an individual of any age with special needs who may be at risk of abuse or neglect.
The Illinois Respite Coalition works closely with the Department of Child and Family Services and Prevent Child Abuse Illinois to be able to provide information to our families who may be at risk for abuse. From both organizations, please see the available literature below on child abuse.
If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, or at risk, please call the Illinois Child Abuse Hotline at 800-25-ABUSE (22873).
